Lakers Outlast The Jazz

Behind the playoff tenacity of Kobe Bryant the Lakers win game 1 against Utah 100-95. Bryant pours in 31 points after hitting two crucial free throws down the stretch with 19 seconds to go. After the Jazz decided to foul after running off a boat load of time then Pau Gasol steps up to the line and hits the last two to seal the deal. Defense that has not be present for the Lakers in the past month was finally present as they stifled the Jazz all afternoon.

Utah Jazz forward Boozer is double-teamed by Los Angeles Lakers forward Odom and Gasol in the first half during Game 1 of their NBA Western Conference semi-final playoff series in Los Angeles
