Steeler QB Ben Roethlisberger will receive a 4-6 game suspension by Commissioner Goddell today because of his alleged sexual assault of a 20 year old college student.
The Commish has stated that "NFL players will be held to a higher standard than the law" and thus the ban even though the QB wasn't criminally charged in his last brush with the law. The suspension will allow for a reduced sentence if Roethlisberger complies with certain guidelines that will be included with the suspension. I will keep you updated on that information as it breaks.
