Barnes with ex-fiancee Govan during happier times
A call was placed to 911 by a female that Sacramento County police describe as a female that Barnes lived with and has a "dating relationship" (probably Gloria Govan, his ex-fiancee) with. 911 dispatchers called police to the address on Sunset Avenue after they received a 911 hangup and stated that they could hear an altercation occurring in the background. When police arrived and touched base with the victims there were "very visible injuries" to both parties but police deduced that Barnes was the aggressor and he was arrested and taken to the Sacramento County jail. After being processed Barnes received a $50, 000.00 bond, which he posted. Barnes is set to be in court on Monday morning on charges of (F) Domestic Abuse and Maliciously Obstructing the Use of a Telephone (because he hung the 911 call up).
On August 2, 2010 Barnes texted Govan and the wedding party informing everyone that the planned wedding was off. Not sure if thats what the little tiff tonight has been about but as more details come available I will keep you posted.
