The NFL has started it's process of policing the hits that have been knocking out players. This week three players have been fined for a total of $175K.The Steelers James Harrison
Heap was knocked out of the game but returned, Massaquoi did not return and is still being evaluated and Jackson who was helped off the field will more than likely miss the upcoming game against Tennessee and hope to get better during the Eagles bye week. The NFL laid down the law on Monday that they would not stand for any further helmet to helmet hits and they would review the hits from the previous week and decide whether to fine or suspend players. That rule stays in effect from this week on. Harrison said on Monday "I don't want to see anyone injured," Harrison said, "but I'm not opposed to hurting anyone. There's a difference. When you're injured, you can't play. But when you're hurt, you can shake it off and come back. I try to hurt people."
I guess he gets it or maybe not!
